A short book on the things nobody teaches you: ownership, how to think about your time, and the systems you build to run your own life.
It's deliberately concise. Most books carry one or two genuinely useful ideas across hundreds of pages — this one cuts to those. Not a plan to follow, but a set of ideas to think with: where you are, where you want to be, and what stands in between.

Hi, I'm Connor.
My name is Connor Andrees and I'm podcasting, writing books and building apps because I believe human potential is limitless. We owe it to each other to continue to propel humanity forward through positive interaction, coaching and removing barriers.
Building apps with AI has removed the barriers to creating. The podcast is where I share my thoughts and learnings from great literature, to streamline your process to self improvement. And the book keeps the physical world alive, while explaining my thought process in long-form.
I believe in human potential, and I hope what I'm creating helps you reach yours.

Privacy policy

connorandrees.com is run by Connor Andrees, a sole proprietor in Illinois. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and who handles it.
What I collect
- Account details. If you become a member: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored encrypted by Supabase, and I can't see them.
- Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches this site or me. I see your name, email, and billing status.
- Email signups. If you join the newsletter or ask to be notified about the book: your email address, stored in Kit.
How I use it
To run your membership, give you access to downloads, send the emails you asked for, and reply to you. I don't sell or rent your information, and I don't use it for advertising.
Who handles it
- Netlify: hosts the site
- Supabase: member accounts
- Stripe: payments and billing
- Kit: email list and newsletters
- Buzzsprout: podcast episodes played on the site
- Google Fonts: the site's typefaces
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and may process data outside Illinois.
Cookies and storage
The site stores a sign-in session in your browser so you stay logged in. It doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Emails
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Members also get billing emails from Stripe, such as receipts and failed-payment notices.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete the information I hold about you by emailing connor@connorandrees.com. Deleting your account ends your membership. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law.
Children
The site isn't intended for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date above. For significant changes, I'll email members.

Terms of membership
Effective September 27, 2026
These terms cover your use of connorandrees.com and the paid membership. The site is run by Connor Andrees, a sole proprietor in Illinois. By creating an account or joining, you agree to them.
Membership and billing
- Membership costs $7 per month, charged when you join and then on the same date each month.
- It renews automatically until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You're responsible for keeping your payment details current.
- If a payment fails and can't be collected after retries, your membership ends.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Account → Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable, including partial months, except where the law requires otherwise.
Price changes
If the price changes, I'll email members at least 30 days before it takes effect. You can cancel before then.
Using what you download
Apps, the book, and other files are for your personal use. You may keep what you've downloaded after cancelling. You may not share, resell, or redistribute them, or share your account. Everything on the site remains the property of Connor Andrees.
Your account
Keep your password private. I may suspend or close an account that shares access or misuses the site. If I close an account without cause, I'll refund the current month.
Apps and content
Apps and downloads are provided as they are, without warranties. They're small tools built quickly, and I can't promise they'll be error-free or available forever. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, or professional advice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or incidental losses from using the site or its downloads, and my total liability is limited to what you paid in the previous three months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Changes
If these terms change, I'll update the date above and email members about significant changes.
